United States Equestrian Team (USET) National Level Shows with top awards Tri-County and Capital District area shows with many riders and horses taking Championship, and top ten year end awards for many, many years. Winter Glen Farm is the home of the University of Albany Equestrian Team, and its riders have done very well, with some qualifying for the year end finals. We also have collegiete students who ride with us during school breaks to stay fine tuned! These are shows strictly for lesson riders on lesson horses. It is a great place to start, if you have any interest in showing. No rider can compete in more than three classes. The classes are divided by age and ability, into small groups. You accumulateve points based strictly on your age category. So, if you start in the Adult (over 18 years), 15-17, 11-13, 9-12, or 8 and under category, you stay within that category regardless of what level you compete at, and regardless of whether that level changes during the year. Year-end high-score awards are given. Links |
